Stress Management
Stress can have a major effect on work performance. Some of the consequences of stress include absenteeism, diminished performance, negative attitudes, decline in commitment and creativity, and a decreased ability to concentrate, learn and interact with other employees.
What is Stress?
Stress is the opposite of relaxation. In the human body it occurs from pressures or demands that produce unwanted mental, emotional and/or physical responses.
Stress becomes a problem when there is an imbalance between excessive demands and inadequate coping skills.
