Work-life balance promotes workplace productivity.

A new study into the attitudes of Australian workforce participants was released by The Diversity Council of Australia in July 2010. It revealed that companies that fail to keep up with community expectations about key issues like work-life balance and respectful and inclusive workplaces are at risk of lower productivity and higher staff turnover.

Is your job starting time making you tired?

New research conducted by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine has found that the time at which you report to work may have a significant impact on the hours and the quality of sleep you get as well as on-the-job fatigue.

Are you employing the right person for the job?

Two team leaders – both male, both in their 40s and both have been in the job for about 10 years. Team leader A is a good listener, efficient and accurate with paperwork and is not afraid to speak his mind to management. A study conducted in Sweden determined that people’s perception of their ability to return to work was 96% accurate.
