Quality Occupational Health was established in December 1996 by Dr David Allen (Occupational Physician). Quality Occupational Health became a WorkCover Accredited Rehabilitation Provider in August 1997.

The Merrylands practice has expanded to a large professional staff, comprising doctors specialising in Occupational Medicine, Rehabilitation Consultants with Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation Counselling and Psychology backgrounds and Risk Management Consultants. Our professional staff have a support team including nursing, administration and account personnel.

We opened the Broadway office in 2006 in response to demand for quality services in the city and surrounding areas. We will expand this over the next year.

Quality Occupational Health is a specialised service, but a doctor's referral is not required. Our service focuses on professional advice on work-related health problems and prompt, competent management of workplace injuries. We provide this in a confidential, practical and unbiased manner.

The overall cost of claims is generally lower if claims are managed well. Injured employees benefit by getting back to work sooner and without unnecessary investigations and treatments. We firmly believe that getting specialist advice does not have to be expensive.
